Our Chambres d’Hôtes offer a peaceful, comfortable stay in a restored French farmhouse surrounded by gardens, barns and open countryside. Ideal for couples or families looking to slow down, enjoy good food and experience the quieter side of rural France — without sacrificing comfort or hospitality.

Whether you are staying for one night, a week or more, you’ll find this is a place where mornings are unhurried, evenings are relaxed, and you’re made to feel genuinely welcome.
 

The Rooms

Each of our guest rooms is thoughtfully furnished to reflect the character of the farmhouse while offering modern comfort. Expect light-filled spaces, comfortable beds, quality linens and quiet nights — the kind of sleep you don’t get at home.

Rooms are suitable for couples or families, with flexible layouts where needed. A highchair is available, so even the youngest guests are comfortably included at mealtimes.

Breakfast & Dining

Your stay can include our continental breakfast, served in a relaxed setting and made with fresh, local produce — including eggs from our own chickens.
Breakfast from €10 per person.

In the evening, guests are welcome to join us for table d’hôte — a home-cooked, three-course meal prepared using seasonal ingredients and local flavours. It’s informal, friendly and ideal for families or couples who enjoy good food without the fuss.
Dinner from €24 per person.

Dietary requirements or dislikes are happily catered for with advance notice.

You’ll also meet our resident characters — hens, Charlie the cockerel, Pickle the pygmy goat and Jupiler the dog — all part of life at Les Granges.
 

Swimming & Activities

Our heated pool is perfect for a morning swim or relaxed family time. For those wanting to improve confidence in the water, Suzi, who is a qualified STA Instructor, offers private swimming lessons for children and adults, as well as seasonal swim camps and aqua sessions through OuiSwim.

For something more natural, wild swimming in the Charente River is just a short walk away.
